At the urging of many friends and colleagues, I have decided to seek the Office of  Supervisor of Napa County for the 5th District.  As many of you are aware, my decision to seek office was not made lightly.  After careful consideration and many family discussions, I enthusiastically accept the challenges before me.

 

 

 

 

 

My Mission

I believe I can bring a thorough knowledge and a dynamic approach to the issues and problems facing both American Canyon and Napa County. Transportation, education, practical growth and public safety are all critical issues facing our county today. I believe I have the ability and commitment to insure that these issues are addressed in the best interest of all of our citizens.

Profile

Keith Caldwell

Keith has lived in the Napa Valley since 1962. He graduated from Vintage High in 1974.

In 1977, Keith was hired by the American Canyon Fire Protection District as a Fire­fighter. In 1981, he was promoted to the position of Captain. In 1984 he was named Napa County Firefighter of the Year. In 1990 he was promoted again, this time to Fire Chief. He served in that capacity until his retirement in 2007.

Keith has lived in many areas of the Napa Valley, but since 1991 has resided in American Canyon. He is married and has one son, who also chose firefighting as a career. Over the years Keith has been very active in the community.

 

  • Past Member of the Napa County Bay Area Ridge Trail Committee.

  • Member, Friends of American Canyon Open Space, and volunteer at Newell Open Space Preserve.

  • Supported the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District Initiative.

  • Current President of the Napa County Firefighters Association, and Treasurer of Fire Explorer Post 262.

  • Past President ofthe Napa/Solano Fire Chiefs Association and member of the Cal Fire Chiefs Association.

  • Member, American Canyon Chamber of Commerce.
